Supreme Court asks about probe into Delhi protest police crackdown
The Supreme Court on Tuesday questioned why an independent investigation should not be ordered into allegations of police excesses during recent student protests. The court raised concerns over the allegations while hearing the matter and sought responses on the demand for an impartial probe. The court was hearing a petition which sought interim direction for an SIT probe.
