The government has extended the time for submission of applications under the Production Linked Scheme (PLI) for textiles till March 31, 2026.

The PLI scheme application portal was re-opened in August 2025 and with encouraging response, including those interested in manufacturing manmade fabrics, apparel, and technical textiles, the government has decided to accept application for new projects till the end of March this year, said an official communication from the Union Ministry of Textiles.
