FIDE Chess World Cup 2025, Round 3 Tiebreaks Results and Standings: Vidit Gujrathi and SL Narayanan were eliminated from the third round of the FIDE World Cup on Sunday in tiebreaks after losing to Sam Shankland and Yu Yangyi respectively. Meanwhile, Karthik Venkataraman defeated Bogdan-Daniel Deac in the tiebreaks to become the fifth Indian in the fourth round.

Arjun Erigaisi, R. Praggnanandhaa, Pentala Harikrishna and Pranav V scored the required 1.5 points from the two classical rounds and thus qualified for the fourth round without needing to fight in tiebreaks.
