That Neetu Kapoor likes to keep it healthy is a known fact. But did you know that the actor always carries her ‘healthy dabbas,’ even at special occasions like the Kapoors’ Christmas lunch?

In the latest Netflix show,Dining With The Kapoors, actor Aadar Jain recalled, “The smart and healthiest is Neetu Maami, who carries her healthy dabbas wherever she goes.”

“Even at Christmas brunch, when there’s turkey, ham, pudding, she’ll still have her bowl of quinoa, one lettuce, three flax seeds, and half a carrot,” the Hello Charlie actor recalled, even as the entire clan agreed and had a good laugh.

Aadar Jain, the son of Reema Kapoor and Manoj Jain, is the nephew of actors Neetu and the late Rishi Kapoor, and the brother of Armaan Jain.

This brings to the forefront a sense of realism in conversations about body transformation. “Her journey shows that meaningful change often happens slowly and steadily, not through quick fixes or dramatic timelines,” said consultant dietitian Garima Goyal.

Eating enjoyable, whole foods and maintaining a regular movement routine will almost always deliver better long-term results than short-term dieting.

From a nutrition point of view, this reflects sustainable habit-building rather than extreme dieting. “It suggests long-term consistency with meals, regular physical activity, and a lifestyle that slowly shifted toward better metabolic health,” said Goyal.

As a dietitian, Goyal said that her commitment is multi-layered. “Diet is only one part of the equation. Protein, fibre, good fats, hydration, and micronutrients build the foundation, but progress also requires stress management, sleep, movement, and emotional resilience,” said Goyal.

Her story helps shift the narrative away from instant results toward long-term well-being and the respect for the individuality of every person’s path toward health.
