Head reached this milestone three innings faster than Steve Smith’s 79 innings, setting a new Australian record. Michael Bevan and George Bailey share the third position, having achieved this feat in 80 innings each. In terms of balls faced, Head’s 2,839 deliveries ranks fourth, behind Glenn Maxwell (2440), Jos Buttler (2533), and Jason Roy (2820).Head’s innings began with a boundary off Mohammed Siraj in the third over. He continued his aggressive approach against Siraj, scoring two more boundaries, and added another four off Prasidh Krishna.During the final powerplay over, Head hit Siraj for a four over the covers. However, Siraj claimed Head’s wicket on the next ball when his late cut was caught by Prasidh Krishna at backward point.
