Photographers assaulted during pre-wedding shoot at Karnataka temple

HASSAN: Tension prevailed in Sakleshpura after a few photographers were assaulted by locals at Bettada Bhyraveshwwara Swamy temple premises on Friday.A group of photographers were involved in a pre-wedding photoshoot at the temple premises. A few locals asked them not to conduct a photoshoot at the place of worship, as suggested by a priest earlier.However, an argument broke out between the photographers and the locals. Later, a few locals, alleging misbehaviour, assaulted the photographers.Hassan District Photographers Association President Swamy condemned the incident and urged the police to take immediate measures in this regard.

The locals claimed that the visitors misbehaved with them.Later, an altercation broke out between two groups near Sakleshpura rural police station during the filing of a complaint and counter complaint. The cops intervened and pacified them. They registered a case and launched an investigation.
