‘Jana Nayagan’ box office day 12 [Live]: Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde starrer slows after Rs 200 crore gross mark, inches towards Rs 180 crore net

Vijay’s final film ‘Jana Nayagan’ has been enjoying a solid run at the box office since its much awaited release on July 23. The film crossed the Rs 200 crore mark during its second weekend, remaining one of the top performing Tamil releases. However, with the start of the second working week, the film saw a dip in its collection. ‘Jana Nayagan’ Day 12 live tracking

According to the latest box office estimates from trade analyst Sacnilk, ‘Jana Nayagan’ has earned over Rs 2.70 crore India net so far on Day 12. The film is running across 3,283 shows. With these numbers, it brings total India gross collections to Rs 208.11 crore and total India net to Rs 178.30 crore so far.It is imperative to mention that the final collection of Day 12 are yet to be reported as the numbers are expected to increase with the evening and night shows.

‘Jana Nayagan’ collection across languages

The live numbers of the Tamil version shows that it has made Rs 2.54 crore with 1,908 shows. On the other hand, the Hindi version has made Rs 16 lakh with 1,375 shows.On Day 11, the film collected Rs 3 crore which brings its total overseas gross to Rs 91 crore so far. This pushes the worldwide gross collection to Rs 295.92 crore.

Directed by H Vinoth, the film is a political action drama which shows Vijay’s character by the name Thalapathy Vetri Kondan, a former official who adopts a young girl named Viji.
