‘Jana Nayagan’ box office collection day 18 [Live]: Vijay starrer eyes Rs 320 crore worldwide as third-weekend pace slows after worldwide gross surpasses Rs 312 crore

Thalapathy Vijay’s much awaited film ‘Jana Nayagan’ was released in theaters on July 23 after much anticipation. The film marks the beloved actor’s last cinematic outing as he focuses on his political career and serves as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Now in its third weekend, the film has started to witness a gradual slowdown at the box office. Here’s a look at the latest live box-office numbers.

As per the live estimates shared by trade analyst Sacnilk, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is currently running across 1,568 shows and has collected a net of Rs 1.81 crore so far.‘Jana Nayagan’ has taken its total India net collection to Rs 190.31 crore. The film’s India gross collection has also climbed to Rs. 221.85 crore. The live numbers of the Tamil version shows that it has made Rs. 1.70 crore with 1,005 shows. ‘Jana Nayagan’ global box office collection

The movie is also performing well in the overseas markets. According to the trade analyst site, ‘Jana Nayagan’ made Rs 25 lakh on Day 17 which brought its total overseas gross to Rs 93.15 crore till the weekend. The film’s worldwide collection now stands at Rs 312.86 crore.

About ‘Jana Nayagan’

Directed by H Vinoth, the film is a political action drama which shows Vijay’s character by the name Thalapathy Vetri Kondan, a former official who adopts a young girl named Viji. He wants him to become less afraid and brave, encouraging her to join forces.The film stars Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani and Sunil in key roles. The music is composed by star musician Anirudh Ravichander.
