Authorities said the man, armed with a shotgun, first opened fire inside a social security office in central Athens, injuring an employee.Then they added that the same suspect later opened fire on the ground floor of a court building in the city, leaving several people wounded. The motive behind the attacks remains unclear. Local broadcaster ERT reported that after the courthouse shooting, the gunman threw envelopes containing documents onto the floor, claiming they could explain the reasons for his actions.
