Robert Lewandowski announced on Saturday that he will leave FC Barcelona at the end of his contract this summer. The 37-year-old striker confirmed his departure through a post on Instagram after spending four seasons with the Spanish club.“After four years full of challenges and hard work, it’s time to move on,” said Lewandowski.“I leave with the feeling that the mission is complete. Four seasons, three championships.”Lewandowski joined Barcelona from Bayern Munich in 2022 for €45 million ($53m). Since then, he has scored 119 goals in 191 appearances across all competitions.During his time at Barcelona, Lewandowski helped the club win three La Liga titles, including the 2025-26 season, along with three Spanish Supercopa trophies and one Copa del Rey title in 2025.The Poland international joined Barcelona at a time when the club was struggling financially and trying to rebuild. He played an important role in helping the team return to the top of Spanish football and compete again in the Champions League.
