On Day 2, the film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi witnessed a growth of 134.8% compared to its opening day collection. According to the Sacnilk report, ‘Batwara 1947’ netted an amount of Rs 13.50 crore across 8,071 shows in India on the first Saturday (Day 2).

This has pushed the worldwide gross collection to Rs 26.41 crore.

The movie also faced competition from Marvel’s ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, which has turned out to be a massive blockbuster in India, collecting over Rs 557 crore until August 15, 2026.
