Thalapathy Vijay’s much awaited film ‘Jana Nayagan’ which was initially set to release in January finally hit the big screens on July 23 after the actor turned politician took the CM’s chair of Tamil Nadu. ‘Jana Nayagan’ LIVE collections
As the film enters its first weekday on Monday, a slight drop in its daily box office collection can be observed.As per the live estimates shared by trade analyst Sacnilk, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is currently running across 7,785 shows with 19.5% occupancy and has collected a net of Rs 4.20 crore as of now.‘Jana Nayagan’ has taken its total India net collection to Rs 128.95 crore. The film’s India gross collection has also climbed to Rs 150.94 crore.
‘Jana Nayagan’ collections across different languages
The live numbers of the Tamil version shows that it has made Rs 2.43 crore with 3,739 shows. The numbers tracking website further reveals that ‘Jana Nayagan’ had an overall occupancy of 24.62% today in the morning. It increased during the afternoon as it recorded 29.54%.On the other hand, the Hindi version made Rs 50 lakh with 3,185 shows. However, the numbers had a low tally among the Telugu audience as it recorded Rs 22 lakh in 861 shows.
‘Jana Nayagan’ overseas collection
The movie is also performing well in the overseas markets. According to the trade analyst site, ‘Jana Nayagan’ made Rs 10 crore on Day 4 which brought its total overseas gross to Rs 71.50 crore till the weekend.
