NEW DELHI: Defence ministry Wednesday signed a contract with a Bengaluru firm for 20 global navigation satellite system jammers with enhanced capability for Navy at a cost of Rs 449 crore with minimum 75% indigenous content.The deal with Accord Software and Systems was signed before defence secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh. The induction would pave the way for safe operations by Navy ships in a multi-threat environment.
