Delhi News Live Updates: Day 3 of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 began with a keynote address by Demis Hassabis, CEO of Google DeepMind, who praised the gathering of leading minds from India and around the world. His remarks followed Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw’s address, in which he expressed optimism about a new future for both India and the world driven by artificial intelligence. French President Emmanuel Macron is also scheduled to attend the Summit today. Meanwhile, controversy surfaced at the AI Summit Expo, where Galgotias University was asked to vacate its stall. The action followed questions over the origin and ownership of a robotic dog labeled “Orion” on display. Critics alleged that the device was in fact a Chinese-made Unitree Go2 robot and not an in-house innovation as presented.

Delhi weather whiplash: Parts of Delhi NCR woke up to light rainfall on Wednesday morning, bringing the temperature down at 15.8 degrees Celsius, 4.8 degrees above the season’s average. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had forecast a generally cloudy sky, with the possibility of a brief spell of very light rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning at isolated places. A yellow alert has been issued for the city, which is an early warning signal that severe weather conditions are to be expected and may affect day-to-day activities.
