India (IND) vs Australia (AUS) 2nd ODI Live Cricket Score Updates: Harshit Rana picked up Travis Head. Australia is one down. Rohit Sharma 73(97) and Shreyas Iyer 61(77) have helped India to get 264/9 from 50 overs. Earlier, Australian skipper Mitchell Marsh won the toss and opted to bowl first against Shubman Gill’s India in the 2nd of the three-match ODI series at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday.

After a much-anticipated wait, the return of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli didn’t go as planned, as both the star players failed to impress with the bat in the first ODI in Perth. Indian batters were troubled by the Australian pace attack led by Josh Hazlewood and Mitch Starc.

KL Rahul looked in good touch and got good support from Axar Patel in the middle order. Nitish Kumar Reddy, the debutant in Perth, also played some attacking shots and looked impressive with the bat towards the fag end of the innings.

In bowling, the focus will be on wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who could not find a spot in the XI for the first ODI, but in Adelaide, where spinners have been effective, the Gautam Gambhir-led management could bring Kuldeep in the side in place of Harshit Rana.

Rohit Sharma had faced 83 balls from Josh Hazlewood before the Adelaide ODI.
