The Nitin Kakkar-directed film, which is heavily relying on its nostalgia factor and music to bring audiences to the theatres, represented a huge growth of 53.4% as compared to its opening-day earnings. According to the Sacnilk report, on Day 2, the Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani starrer minted Rs 33.75 crore across 10,496 shows in India.
‘Awarapan 2’ total box office collection
With the latest numbers added to its tally, the total India net collection reached Rs 55.75 crore, while the total India gross collection stands at Rs 66.90 crore.Overseas, the movie has netted an amount of Rs 3.50 crore on Day 2, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 6.00 crore so far. This pushed the worldwide gross collection to Rs 72.90 crore.

‘Awarapan 2’ clashed with Sunny Deol’s ‘Batwara 1947’ at the box office. However, the partition drama failed to surpass the Emraan Hashmi-starrer at the box office. On the other hand, the film is also sharing screens with Hollywood blockbuster ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, which was released on July 30, 2026. Despite being in its third week, the Marvel film has given tough competition to the Bollywood movie, even after having a smaller number of screens allotted to it.
