Paid preview shows of the Akshay starrer, raked in an estimated Rs 3.75 crore. Now, according to the Sacnilk report, on Day 1, the film minted Rs 15 crore across 10,892 shows. With that, the total India net collection stands at Rs 18.75 crore, while the total India gross collection is Rs 22.50 crore. Overseas, the movie has collected Rs 6.50 crore gross, pushing its worldwide gross total collection to Rs 29 crore.

The people who watched the movie in theatres shared their early reviews on social media, noting that although they had a good laugh in the theatres, the content was not original. They shared that the makers used character references and jokes from the previous films. However, everyone hailed veteran actors Farida Jalal and Kiran Kumar’s characters and their performances in the movie.
