Rajasthan power companies to recruit 2,005 candidates through RVUNL recruitment drive

RVUNL Recruitment 2026: Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL), a Government of Rajasthan undertaking, has issued a short recruitment notification for 2,005 vacancies across five state power companies. The notification, released under Advertisement No. RVUN/Rectt.-2026-27/01, invites online applications for Junior Engineer-I, Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II posts.According to the notification, the detailed advertisement, including eligibility conditions, application schedule, selection procedure and other recruitment guidelines, will be released in the second fortnight of July 2026. The online application process will commence after the publication of the detailed notification and applications will be accepted only through the official websites of the participating Vidyut Nigams.Vacancies distributed across five power companiesThe recruitment drive covers Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. (RVUN), Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd. (RVPN), Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. (JVVN), Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. (AVVN) and Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. (JdVVN).Of the 2,005 vacancies, 869 are for Junior Engineer posts, 371 for Junior Accountant and 765 for Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II. The largest share of vacancies has been announced for Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II positions.

RVUNL Recruitment 2026

For Junior Engineer-I (Electrical), 727 posts have been notified. Junior Engineer-I (Mechanical) accounts for 110 posts, while Junior Engineer-I (Civil) comprises 32 posts. Vacancy reservations for various categories will be applicable as per relevant regulations.Eligibility and application feeCandidates aged between 18 and 28 years are eligible to apply, subject to fulfilment of educational requirements. Applicants for Junior Engineer posts must possess a three-year diploma in the relevant engineering discipline. Junior Accountant candidates must hold a graduate degree in Commerce or a related field, while applicants for Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II must be graduates with the prescribed computer proficiency and typing skills.The application fee has been fixed at Rs. 1,000 for candidates belonging to the UR category. Candidates from SC, ST, BC, MBC, EWS, PwBD and Saharia categories will be required to pay Rs. 500. Fees can be paid online through BHIM UPI, net banking and approved debit card payment modes.Selection process and salary detailsThe recruitment process will include a written examination, followed by document verification and medical examination. Junior Engineer candidates will be assessed through a test carrying 200 marks. Selected Junior Engineers will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 33,800 under Pay Level 10, along with admissible allowances.
