NTA Director General Abhishek Singh announced on Saturday that the Indian Air Force (IAF) will be responsible for transporting theNEET question papers for the national test scheduled for June 21. Singh, who participated virtually in a meeting with Telangana Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao on NEET arrangements, stated that enhanced security protocols are being implemented for the examination.

Singh stated that, for the first time, the Indian Air Force will be tasked with transporting question papers. This decision highlights the importance placed on maintaining the integrity and security of the examination process, according to a state government release.

In the meantime, the Chief Secretary has instructed officials to ensure that foolproof arrangements are in place for the medical exam. He directed district authorities to work closely with all relevant departments to provide candidates with a hassle-free environment on the day of the examination.n the day of the examination.

State Principal Secretary (Health) Christina Z. Chongthu announced that approximately 73,000 students are expected to participate in the NEET examination, which will take place across 208 examination centres in 24 cities throughout the state.

To ensure the smooth conduct of the examination, necessary arrangements are being made regarding infrastructure, transportation, security, power supply, and essential facilities such as drinking water.

State DG (Law and Order) Mahesh Bhagwat emphasised the importance of close coordination between the police department and the district administration. He instructed police officials to implement comprehensive security measures at all examination centres and to maintain constant vigilance.

Additionally, he warned officials to be wary of rumour-mongering and misinformation. Bhagwat advised them to actively monitor social media platforms to promptly address any false information that could disrupt the examination process.
