NEW DELHI: Shreyas Iyer produced a moment of brilliance on the field, pulling off a stunning mid-air relay catch that left fans at the Wankhede Stadium in awe. The effort also drew priceless reactions from Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav, who watched it unfold from near the dugout, with their reactions quickly going viral. After Punjab Kings sealed the win over Mumbai Indians, the franchise shared a video in which Iyer was asked, “Shreyas, one word for your catch?”Iyer replied: “Spectacular”.He added: “Since no one is complimenting, I shall give a pat to myself.”Prabhsimran Singh and Iyer continued their fine form with the bat, scoring consecutive half-centuries and stitching a 139-run partnership for the third wicket as Punjab Kings cruised to a seven-wicket win with 21 balls to spare.Earlier, Mumbai Indians were asked to bat, and Quinton de Kock, who replaced Rohit Sharma in the playing XI, smashed a brilliant unbeaten 112 off 60 balls. Naman Dhir chipped in with 50 off 31 balls as MI posted 195/6.However, their efforts were overshadowed by the brilliance of Prabhsimran and Iyer, who guided PBKS to victory.
