Piyush Mishra on ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’: ‘You cannot say that it is a propaganda film
At the Delhi International Film Festival, esteemed actor Piyush Mishra celebrated Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’, referring to it as ‘true cinema’ and dismissing any notions of propaganda surrounding it. He commended its remarkable screenplay. Additionally, notable figures in the industry such as Rajinikanth, Allu Arjun, and Alia Bhatt have also expressed their admiration for the film’s direction and standout performances.

Recently, veteran actor Piyush Mishra also joined the long list of celebrities who have sung praises of Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge.’ While attending the first-ever Delhi International Film Festival, the actor opened up about his experience watching the film. Not only that, but he even defended the film against all of the people who have been claiming that the film is nothing but propaganda.

As reported by IANS, Mishra recently attended the Delhi International Film Festival for an appearance. During his visit, he talked about ‘Dhurandhar 2’, calling it “actual cinema.” He praised a lot of the film’s aspects during his talk, and added, “There is a thin line between propaganda and cinema, like Dhurandhar. I liked Dhurandar a lot. There is a great screenplay in it. It is cinema, actually. So, I liked Dhurandar very much. So, you cannot say that it is a propaganda film. It is a film.”

Other celebrities also praise Aditya Dhar, Ranveer Singh, and ‘Dhurandhar 2’

Many other celebrities and industry officials celebrated Aditya Dhar’s directorial work on ‘Dhurandhar’, along with many other celebrities. Names like Rajinikanth, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, and Kartik Aaryan all took to their accounts or other opportunities to praise the film. The ‘Pushpa’ actor wrote in his post, “Just watched #Dhurandhar. A brilliantly made film filled with fine performances, the finest technical aspects, and amazing soundtracks. Magnetic presence by my brother @RanveerOfficial, he rocked the show with his versatility.” Alia Bhatt also joined in on the hype and could not stop gushing about her ‘Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ co-star’s performance on screen. She wrote, “Jaskirat Singh Rangi and this moment..is everything (red heart emoji) the magic of the director and the actor in complete sync! Congratulations, Team Dhurandhar, for this historic run at the movies.”

Premise of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’

The second film follows Hamza as he takes over for Akshay Khanna’s Rehman Dakait, though he continues to work and infiltrate the enemy groups.
