‘Dhurandhar’ has now begun to slow down in the fifth week after being on a record breaking spree for a month. The film released in cinemas on December 5 and the Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna starrer has broken the record of ‘Stree 2’, ‘Jawan’ and now also ‘Pushap 2’. The film managed to stay strong amidst a big Hollywood release like ‘Avatar Fire And Ash’ followed by other movies like ‘Tu Meri Main Tera’ and now ‘Ikkis’.Dhurandhar Movie ReviewWhile the film did witness a drop in collections, it simultaneously achieved a major milestone by emerging as the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, surpassing the Rs 735 crore nett-plus record previously held by ‘Pushpa 2’. This drop was very much expected as the holiday period ended and from January 5 onwards, one saw a major downward curve for the film as it recorded its lowest ever per day number on 5th Monday and Tuesday. So far, it had managed to generate double digit numbers all through and then there was this sudden drop.
